Unexpected gardens, green corners hidden in an area that has always been pedestrian-oriented: via della Spiga can be experienced as the green oasis of the Quadrilatero. Among the most striking open-air spaces is that of Baretto, a beacon of the city's restaurant scene, which offers an area rich in plants and even exotic essences. Another open-air space is that of The Bar at Ralph Lauren where you can experience, surrounded by nature, the finest U.S. cuisine. But the street also holds the history of Milanese industriousness. Here then are the former Garzanti building and the Innocenti building, now transformed into multifunctional spaces that house boutiques and offices. Via della Spiga was also chosen by Giò Moretti, a Milanese multibrand retail institution, and by Dolce&Gabbana, who opened their first boutique here.
